“Dismissed” exposes the political agendas hiding in our justice system and what we can do about them.
Todd speaks on the latest SCOTUS decision impacting the Sandmann case and the upcoming book.
We’re told Justice should be blind. We’ve been taught that “The Truth will set you free.” But is that the world in which we find ourselves? Cancel culture, biased narratives, mainstream media, and giant corporations; these are the mindsets and special interests that have ferociously aligned in a force that silences and punishes the common citizen. Historically, the Justice System has stood in the gap to ensure citizens aren’t overpowered. But is that still the case? Through the lens of defamation law, “Dismissed” examines how the justice system has been taken over by political maneuvering and American citizens are suffering.
An experienced trial attorney and trained mediator dedicated to professional excellence. Todd represents individuals and businesses in complex litigation matters including defamation claims, plaintiff's legal malpractice, business divorce, business litigation, and real estate related litigation. He has represented numerous clients in nationally recognized defamation cases.
Todd McMurtry grew up in Covington, Kentucky. His father was a trial lawyer, and his mother restored historic homes, rented apartments and organized the neighbors to improve the neighborhood. Todd and his brother had a childhood much different than those who grew up in the suburbs. Urban Covington was diverse socially, economically and ethnically. The early interactions in Covington with people from all walks of life informed Todd about the inherent goodness of people from different backgrounds, the real effect national economics have on the working class, and the joy of being a Kentuckian.
